Forming Government
- The current Government of Victoria is named the Andrews Government because DanielAndrews is currently the leader of the Labour party (which won 55 of the 88 seats in the Legislative Assembly at the 2018 Victorian election, forming the Government).
- The current Government of Australia is named the Morrison Government because ScottMorrison is currently the leader of the Coalition (which won 77 of the 151 seats in the House of Representatives at the 2019 federal election, forming the Government).
- The Liberal National Coalition only has an everyday majority of one vote in the House of Representatives because one member of the Coalition sits as ‘Speaker of the House’ and by convention does not normally vote.
